Greetings: Welcome to Dominion School of the Prophets! We are ecstatic that the voice of God lead you to join this ministry. Each year we are expecting another dynamic outpouring of the Holy Ghost as we yield ourselves to the power of God, praying that He will restore the Prophetic Ministry back in all areas of culture. It is our endeavor to train up leaders within communities to become experienced, qualified servants of God as they embark upon this critical spiritual venture. Therefore, each student must register for all classes and purchase all tapes or videos and textbooks for each lesson. No assignments or grades will be given until all financial requirements are fulfilled. See Correspondence Course Syllabus for additional information. Apostle Leon Pounds is the Associate Pastor of Christ Temple of Refuge, under the auspices of Christ Healing Temple Ministries, Inc., founded by Chief Apostle Ronald Harden Ph.D. He is a devoted husband to the lovely Evangelist Shellie Pounds and a father who promotes family values. Apostle Pounds is a highly skilled program organizer, proficient administrator, anointed and competent public speaker who possess many of the Gifts of the Spirit. He is also an exceptional musician, soloist and gospel recording artist. He is a former member of the gospel quartet group called "Bob Jenkins and the Seven Great Wonders", who have recorded the CD entitled "GrandMa's Child", and the most recent one entitled, "Sing a Song". He is a qualified biblical research analyst who values the study of the Scriptures. Apostle Pounds is known as an experienced teacher, an anointed revivalist, and a knowledgeable spiritual consultant. Apostle Leon Pounds received his Christian education at Laborer’s Bible College under the tutelage of Apostle Ronald Harden Ph.D., where he received his Masters Degree in Theology, and is presently a Ph.D. candidate. He has also been awarded his Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He received his secular education at Central Georgia Technical College where he accomplished many achievements and received certificates as a Microcomputer and Computer Network Specialist. Apostle Pounds is an ordained Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. He is a very well-known traveling Evangelist both locally and internationally. He has traveled on many international mission tours to Central America that includes Honduras and all parts of Belize and is heavily involved in several local community outreach programs. He is very passionate in assisting in training and educating various church leaders throughout the state of Georgia. Apostle Pounds is an instructor and staff member of Laborer’s Bible College and Dominion School of the Prophets. He is also the Manager of IT Billing Operations for Birch Communications, Inc. Apostle Pounds’ main drive is to teach and equip God’s people to advance His kingdom throughout the earth.

Prophetess (Dr.) Edwina Harden James is a native of Sparta, Ga. She loves her family and is committed to her husband, Dr. Phillip James. She is Vice President of Christ Healing Temple Ministries, Inc. and Assistant Pastor at Christ Temple of Refuge in Milledgeville, Ga.

She received her B.S. in Special Education and Middle Grades Education from Georgia College & State University, a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, and a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida. She served on the faculty at Dekalb Tech and The University of Phoenix for several years. She retired from the Dekalb County School District several years ago, devoting all of her time and energy to a move of God.

She is a woman of faith, wisdom and knowledge, not afraid to bombard the very gates of hell. She is a frontline soldier in the army of the Lord. One of her favorite scriptures is Ephesians 6:13-14; “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness….”

Our Philosophy

We believe in the whole counsel of God’s word – the unadulterated gospel.

We believe the church to be the body of Christ, and that organism He founded to carry out His work and purposes in the earth.

We believe the church must be a witness, even to the principalities and powers of manifold wisdom of God in accordance with Ephesians 3:10.

We believe in an overcoming church – one that storms down the very gates of hell, and tears down every stronghold of the enemy, in accordance with Matthew 16:17, II Corinthians 10:4,5.

We believe that those weapons with which we are to overcome the enemy are: “The Mighty Name of Jesus,” “The Blood of Jesus,” “The Nine Gifts of the Spirit,” “The Word,” “The Covenant,” “Worship and Praise,” and our “Position in Christ” as believers.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, whereby we receive power to perform our work for Christ, and power to live a sanctified and victorious life.

This particular Church was established as a place of “Refuge” for those seeking greater dimensions in Christ. It was also established for the dejected, the despised, the neglected, the damned, downtrodden, the disenchanted, the sick, the bound, and the afflicted; to you we say: God’s grace is sufficient.

Our Mission

Primarily, our mission is to disciple all cultures and every kingdom to the glory of God.

Secondly, God has uniquely called this ministry as an instrument to promote the restoration of the Prophetic and Apostolic offices to the fivefold ministry. As a result, we established the Dominion School of the Prophets for the activation, maturation, training, and equipping of those already called to the Prophetic and Apostolic offices. In that same vein, we labor unceasingly toward the realization of a prophetic anointing upon every Christian ministry, and we labor to witness the emergence of a prophetic people on this earth.

Additionally, we are committed to proclaiming the message of God’s glory or His manifest presence to all of Christendom. God has determined that His glory “will fill this earth as the waters cover the sea.” We have covenanted to be carriers of this glory, believing God that His very essence, even the very essence of heaven, will be imparted, manifested, and demonstrated before the world. The glory realm is the heartcry of God, and it is the keystone to every groan, need, and ill of mankind. A proper understanding of the Davidic Tabernacle of worship, along with covenanted obedience, will gain us access to this realm. This is our mission.

Our Salvation

Our Salvation is through the Blood of Jesus. God’s simple plan of salvation is for every one who believes. Every person needs to be saved.

The Main Steps in Getting Saved Are:

To acknowledge that you are a sinner. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” -Romans 3:23.
No one can save themselves: Our Salvation is through the Blood of Jesus. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” -I John 1:9. ” If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved,” -Romans 10:9. “Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out.” -Acts 3:19.
We need a substitute to pay the price of sin for us. God sent His Son, ” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” -John 3:16. “This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent.” -John 6:29.
Jesus is the only way of salvation: “Neither is there salvation in any other; For there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby ye must be saved.” -Acts 4:12.
From your heart, ask the Lord to save you: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,” -Romans 10:13. “God be merciful to me, a sinner.” -Luke 18:13.

Father God in the name of Jesus, I come before you acknowledging that I am a sinner. I am sorry for sinning against you and ask that you forgive me of all my sins. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and that He has risen from the dead. Lord, I surrender my all to you and accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please wash me with hyssop and purge me with thy blood. I believe by faith that my sins are forgiven and I am save by the Precious Blood of Jesus. Old things are passed away and behold all things are made new. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Our Vision

To establish a Christian City, which shall be called the City of Refuge. This City is designed to this extent, that the world may witness a visible demonstration of the Kingdom of God, and might witness an example of a true covenant community. This city shall be a Christian commonwealth where God rule by way of His law-word and spirit and spirit are supreme and where Christ has the pre-eminence.

Our Statement of Faith

This ministry accepts the three ancient documents of the early church: The Apostle’s Creed, Nicene Creed, and The Athanasian Creed.

In particular: We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world; We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and the consummation of all things.
